The Brewster family have been farming in the heart of Scotland for over 40 years.
In 2007 Alex Brewster saw a gap in the egg market in the Tay Valley and subsequently launched The Egg Shed at Rotmell Farm.

Unashamedly nerdy about soil, Alex is always developing his farming practice to help provide a sustainable and environmentally friendly future for his farm and family.
ABOUT THE EGG SHED
Nestled in the heart of the picturesque Tay Valley, Perthshire you will find 4000 free range hens foraging around their home. Founded in 2008 by the Brewster Family, The Egg Shed, Rotmell Farm prides itself in producing the highest quality Free Range eggs to the highest of welfare standards.
Soil Farmer of the Year 2020, Alex Brewster strives to provide the best environment for his hens to thrive in.
100% PASTURE, FREE RANGE & GMO FREE
Our carefully tended to flocks eat a specially blended GM-free diet, made just for them. They are also supplied with crushed oyster shells, to which provides them a rich source of calcium.

Our hens are spared routine antibiotics and we ensure that we have no more than six hens per square meter and plenty of space to roam!

Our eggs naturally contain:
